Deliveries

If you would like to request a delivery quote then please email us at info@lukuhome.com, remembering to include your order details along with your address and postcode.  We will get back to you as soon as possible with a quote for your specific delivery needs.

We have tried our best to simplify our delivery costs, but there are some products that vary from this table when delivered to remote areas.

Delivery Times:

We always try to deliver your order as soon as possible.

Mainland UK

Smaller items                                                   Usually delivered within 3-5 working days

Furniture, large/heavy items                      Usually delivered within 1-2 weeks

Remote & Offshore UK

Smaller items                                                   Usually delivered within 5-7 working days

Furniture, large/heavy items                      Usually delivered within 2-4 weeks

 

For bespoke “made to order” items there may be an additional lead time.

Express Delivery:

We will always try to get your order delivered to you as soon as possible, although we understand that sometimes you may want an urgent delivery.  For some standard and medium delivery items express delivery can be arranged.  If you would like to have your order express delivered please phone us on 020-8943-3683 prior to completing your order to get a quote.

Unfortunately express delivery is not available for large or extra large delivery items.

Saturday Delivery:

Some furniture and large or heavy items can be delivered on Saturdays.  Please ask our delivery team when they book the delivery date with you.

If you have specific delivery needs then please contact us and we’ll try to help in any way we can.

International Delivery:

Unfortunately at present we are unable to deliver internationally.  However this is a service we hope to provide in the near future.

Standard / Medium Delivery:

Standard and medium delivery items will be delivered by Parcelforce or another carrier and should arrive within 3-5 working days for mainland UK addresses.

Should you not be at home at the time of delivery they will leave a calling card for you and either attempt re-delivery, or your parcel will be taken to your local postal depot for collection.

Large Delivery (1 Man):

For large delivery items we use a specialist 1 Man delivery service and your order should arrive within 1-2 weeks for mainland UK addresses.  This is to make sure that your order is delivered in perfect condition at your convenience.

Once your order is ready we will telephone you to arrange a mutually convenient day to receive delivery.

On the delivery day we’ll call you when we’re en-route.  When we arrive we’ll bring your order in and place it in a ground floor room of choice.  We’ll also help you check your delivery to ensure you’re completely happy with it.

Please bear in mind that since this is a 1 Man delivery it can only be delivered to ground floor level.  If you have specific delivery needs then please contact us and we’ll try to help in any way we can.

Extra Large / Heavy Delivery (2 Man):

For very large and heavy items we use a specialist 2 Man delivery service and your order should arrive within 1-2 weeks for mainland UK addresses.  This is to allow us to safely deliver these items in perfect condition to your room of choice and at your convenience.

Once your order is ready we will contact you to arrange a mutually convenient day to receive delivery.

On the delivery day we’ll call you when we’re en-route.  When we arrive we’ll bring your order in and place it your room of choice.  We’ll also help you check your delivery to ensure you’re completely happy with it.

Furniture Delivery Disclaimer:

Please make sure that you measure up correctly before placing any furniture orders.  Don’t forget to take into account the access into your property, such as staircases, doorways and tight spaces.

We will always do our best to safely deliver you order to your room of choice.  However on the delivery day the carrier will assess whether or not they are able to physically manoeuvre the items into place, and will only do so if they can be freely moved through all access points provided.   Our large 1 Man deliveries can only be delivered to a ground floor room of choice.

Be aware that if you need to return an item of furniture because it was unable to be delivered, the original delivery charge will be deducted from any refund.

Accepting Deliveries:

We will always try to make your shopping experience as enjoyable as possible.  However please make sure that you check for any damage at the time of delivery as this is your responsibility.  You may be required to sign a confirmation that the goods have been delivered in a satisfactory condition.  Once goods are accepted from the carrier no responsibility can be taken by Luku Home for any loss or damage whatsoever.

In the unusual event that your order arrives damaged please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.  Please do not accept the delivery and contact us as soon as possible.  We will then send a replacement item out to you, subject to stock availability.

Returns

How to Return an Order:

We hope you are delighted with your purchase, but we do understand that sometimes you may wish to return an item.  Simply contact us by phone on 0118 348 3878 or by email at info@lukuhome.com.  Then send the items back to us at:

If you have any questions about your return please don't hesitate to get in touch. 

General Returns:

Please contact us within 14 days of receipt to qualify for a refund, and then return the items to us within 28 days of receipt.

Goods must be unused and in perfect saleable condition, including the original packaging.  Please take care to inspect your items carefully before disposing of packaging as failure to do so may result in us being unable to issue you a refund.

We recommend that you use a fully insured registered delivery method and keep the receipt, as we cannot accept liability for loss or damage of returned goods.  If you would like to drop the goods off in person, please contact us to arrange a convenient time.

Although we will refund your initial delivery cost or part thereof, all items are returned at your own expense.

Alternatively we would be more than happy to supply you with a quote for us to collect the item from you.  This may be useful if the item is heavy, fragile or a piece of furniture. 

 “Made To Order” Returns:

If you wish to purchase one of our bespoke items listed as “made to order”, then unfortunately your order cannot be cancelled prior to despatch once it has been placed.

Should you wish to return such an item we reserve the right to retain a 50% re-stocking fee.  Please contact us within 7 days of receipt to qualify for a refund, and then return the items to us within 14 days of receipt.

Goods must be unused and in perfect condition, including the original packaging.  Please take care to inspect your items carefully before disposing of packaging as failure to do so may result in us being unable to issue you a refund.
